Update: On December 14th, the US Federal Communications Commission voted to roll back net neutrality protections. Official statement from Brian Chesky: The FCC’s vote to repeal net neutrality is wrong & disappointing. A free & open internet is critical to innovation, an open society, & widespread access to economic empowerment.
@Airbnb will continue to speak out for net neutrality.
Yesterday, US Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai released his final proposal to roll back net neutrality protections, and the FCC will vote on this proposal on December 14th.
Airbnb supports a free and open internet. Net neutrality rules have been working and these consumer protections should not be rolled back. We are proud to join with others protesting the FCC’s plans to reverse these common-sense rules.
