Open House Dublin is Ireland’s largest architecture festival, which invites people across the country to come explore Dublin in a new way by showcasing incredible architecture for everyone to experience. Buildings that aren’t typically accessible to the public and buildings featuring some of the most impressive architectural design open their doors for the weekend with guided tours.
For the third year, Airbnb supported the festival not only by opening its doors to the Warehouse office but by offering participants the opportunity to walk through some of the most interestingly designed listings on the platform, including the Container House, which is a home built using eleven standard length shipping containers.
We spoke to Nathalie Weadick, Director of the Irish Architecture Foundation about why the event is just a great showcase for Dublin. Take a look:
