Home sharer from Graz are committed to sharing their homes responsibly and see themselves as ambassadors of their city. They give their guests tips for what to explore in Graz, and in doing so they help support the local economy. In order to share their homes responsibly and help expand the positive effects of home sharing on Graz, it is very important for the home sharers to work together with the city of Graz.
To support this dialogue between home sharers and the city of Graz, at the beginning of February the Graz Home Sharing Club organised an event for home sharers and city representatives . Around 40 home sharers from the area came together at Cafe Mitte and asked the city representatives questions. Roswitha Scharl, representative of the Magistrate, and Dieter Hardt-Stremayer, Head of Graz Tourism, were present.
Sandra from the Graz Home Sharing Club summarizes the evening:
“Home sharers from Graz want to share their homes responsibly. A dialogue with the city administration is very important to us. The event was a good opportunity to discuss with the city’s representatives how we as home sharers can help Graz to benefit even more from home sharing and how we can access the information we need to share our homes responsible”.
If you are interested in joining in the next event, or if you would like to exchange ideas with home sharers from Graz, please contact the Graz Home Sharing Club via their Facebook group.
