On July 3rd, more than sixty guests gathered in Bordeaux to launch the second Home Sharing Club in France!
Located just a stone’s throw from the brand new Wine Museum, a modern art museum and home to the Vivres de l’Art, guests were welcomed by Samuel, the manager of the gallery, and Jeff, the owner of the place.
The goal of the evening was to give hosts the chance to meet, talking about their home sharing experiences, exchange best practices and share information about home sharing.
Julie, Isabelle and Olivier, the MCs of the evening, were in charge of launching the club officially:
“We are pleased to see you all together this evening. With this club, Bordeaux will become an even more welcoming and warm city. We are all here to share our experiences as hosts, to help each other and to share advice… In short, to spend time together!“
Airbnb team member Mathis recalled how important the Community was to Airbnb.
“By being hosts on Airbnb, you have a real responsibility: you are the best representatives of Bordeaux. It is you and your hospitality that guests from all over the world will remember and share with their friends. Today, the Home Sharing Club will help you to continue being such perfect hosts! Congratulations to you.“
