Univision and Airbnb partner to offer “Behind the Scenes with Univision LA” Experience

This month we announced a unique Airbnb Experience that will bring guests behind the scenes of Univision’s Los Angeles studios with anchor and host Leon Krauze – and benefit California journalism students at the same time.

For $100, guests will have an opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes tour of Univision’s Los Angeles studios and learn first-hand what it takes to put a newscast together. Guests will try their hand at reading from a teleprompter on set, with the option of doing an entertainment, news or weather segment. As a parting gift, guests will be given a tape of their “news segment” to commemorate the unique Experience.

The “Behind the Scenes with Univision LA” Experience is a Social Impact Experience where 100 percent of proceeds go directly to a non-profit organization. All proceeds of this Experience will go to the Latino Communications Institute at Cal State University Fullerton to help build a pipeline of talented bilingual communication professionals. Airbnb will match the money raised from the Experience and make a donation to the university.
