Mexico City’s First Semana Del Anfitrión, or Week of the Host

La Semana del Anfitrión or “Week of the Host” was a week-long series of events celebrating the host community in México City.

The Airbnb Team shared the founding story of the company, what our international home-sharing communities look like, and discussed a vision for the future of the Mexico City Host Club. This event was held in CASA Q, which is owned by an Airbnb host. Hosts from throughout Mexico City came to support the recent opening of the restaurant and to meet other hosts.

The next day, hosts were joined by two seasoned members who shared advice on how to improve their listing through photography and interior design. Hosts gained valuable insights and scheduled one-on-one sessions to visit each other’s listings.

The neighborhood walk ended at Cafe Zena — a host-owned cafe!
