Oscailte is just a few days away and ahead of the event, we wanted to give hosts – confirmed to attend – an idea of some of the exciting programming they can expect.
Hosts will get to hear from Aisling Hassell, Head of Customer Experience at Airbnb who will give an overview of the big changes Airbnb has seen over the last year in addition to highlighting some of the community’s biggest accomplishments.
Those in attendance will also be treated to an engaging talk from Dublin and Cork Home Sharing Club leaders to learn more about how to get involved before a Women in Hosting panel takes place. The panel will feature local hosts discussing everything from the International Women’s Day report to the impact made by female hosts across Ireland.
Following breakout sessions, hosts will return to hear another exciting keynote address regarding the commitments Airbnb is making to the community in the way of key product updates, customer service as well as trust and safety developments.
There are a few surprises in store for hosts later in the day with a fireside chat featuring a special guest. Next, Airbnb’s Director of Business Affairs, Aoife McArdle will join Airbnb’s Chief Marketing Officer, Jonathan Mildenhall to make a special announcement.
The second annual host awards will take place with hosts receiving accolades for Ireland’s Most Unique Listing, Warmest Welcome, Community Champion and Inspirational story.
